Wij know this reunion ofwel Grace with the Greenleaf family kan zijn going to cause trouble. Ofwel course if there wasn't trouble, there wouldn't be a show!

Oprah would not put her name on junk. I'm white and feel at home watching this performance and totally vested in the characters. I'm still only half-way through season 3 and dread having the voorstelling end. Surprise! Just announced filming will start for season 5.

I was so deeply moved by this voorstelling that it led me to write my first review on here. An addictive plot, amazing quality ofwel acting and so many messages not only about religion but also about life itself.. The voorstelling has a way ofwel pulling the audience inside ofwel its world, making us feel like we are one of the Greenleafs. I am white; however I felt at home watching this opvoering.

While adhering to biblical rules, there kan zijn unbridled decadence, misconduct and sin in the family. The preacher's daughter comes home for a funeral and decides to stay.

As the series unfolds, wij learn there are many hypocrisies surrounding the Greenleaf family. Grace kan zijn not the only estranged family member. I love night-time soaps. I like the idea for this opvoering as well as the story and the characters and the angle they take in relating the narrative.

I'm gemakkelijk that this drama kan zijn like a soap opera! I'm so tired of crime shows, murder mysteries, legal dramas. Comedies are so full ofwel sexual inuendo they aren't funny any more. Gimme some liars, some nasty backstabbing and some good folks who cope.

It's at times very hard to make any sense ofwel this all and the reason kan zijn probably that there isn't one. The whole series feels like a cinematic supermarket that's low on stock and has a small variation of products. On the plus; I'm not a religious person, but I basically like how bible quotes are thrown into daily conversations, although at times I hear myself thinking "Please God, no more."

Having watched all 5 seasons, I'd say this family-based drama kan zijn a solid 7. It paints a roller coaster of emotions within the turbulent world ofwel the Greenleaf family and the megachurch they run. It does sometimes dive too deeply into soap opera style, and plot elements are sometimes resolved with a wave of a writer's wand, but then it kan zijn fictional drama, not reality.

I often object to character-driven dramas without much story, but in this case, I feel the story arc lays an element of artifice aan these fascinating dynamics.

The final season of “Greenleaf” sees the megachurch at the center ofwel the drama in danger ofwel being torn down, in addition to relationships being tested.

Much ofwel my fascination with Greenleaf is that, for me, a white, big- city atheist, this world is so outside of my experience, in part because everyone's black, but more because everyone accepts Jesus as a very tangible figure in their lives.
